Job Brief We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality activities on large Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Infrastructure projects in Qatar. In this role, you will be the main person responsible for quality across the entire project—from engineering to construction and commissioning. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to make sure all work meets Qatar Energy standards, QCS, and international codes. Responsibilities Act as the overall QA/QC In-Charge for the project. Prepare, implement, and manage the Project Quality Plan (PQP) as per ISO 9001, Qatar Energy, and client requirements. Ensure full compliance with QCS, Qatar Energy standards, and international codes such as API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, ISO, IEC, and BS. Review and approve ITPs, method statements, procedures, and quality documents. Lead QA/QC activities during construction, fabrication, installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning. Manage and guide QA/QC Engineers, Inspectors, NDT staff, and Document Controllers. Coordinate with Qatar Energy, consultants, third-party inspectors, and certification bodies. Supervise inspections for welding, NDT, coating, piping, structural, civil, and E&I works. Ensure proper material inspection, traceability, storage, and control. Conduct internal, vendor, and site audits and close findings on time. Review NCRs, perform root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are completed. Monitor subcontractor quality and ensure contract compliance. Prepare and submit Final Quality Dossiers, MDRs, and As-Built documents. Build a strong quality and compliance culture across the project.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering. Minimum 15 years of total experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Infrastructure projects. At least 5 years as QA/QC Manager or QA/QC In-Charge on major EPC projects. Mandatory experience in Qatar, working with Qatar Energy, QAFCO, or major EPC contractors. Strong hands-on experience in EPC execution, site construction, fabrication yards, and commissioning. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor – Mandatory. CSWIP / AWS Welding Inspector certification preferred. NDT Level II or III (ASNT / PCN / BGAS) preferred.
