About the Role

As a Systems Engineer you will develop and enhance software programs to the specified requirements. You will ensure error-free code within agreed time-scales, using the tools and techniques specified by the Project Lead. You will be developing Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and working with developers to perform code releases. You will investigate reported incidents in operational systems and ensure root cause analysis, right changes and tests are performed. You will ensure enhancements are done on existing modules based on Impact Analysis.

About role and responsibilities

• Responsible for design and development of java-based applications
• Ensure proper documentation of the software for the ease of quality assurance, testing, operation and support.
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Ensure clear understanding of various automation tools for developing CI/CD pipelines.
• Support related communication and end user management.
• Support in the testing, training and implementation phases of the projects.
• Prepare or assist in preparing test scenarios, test scripts, test cases and test results

Qualifications

About You

• High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 4 years of job - related experience / Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with minimum 3 years of job - related experience.

Skill sets which is a 'Must have' for this role:

• Java, J2EE
• Oracle Database
• Experience working with DevOps frameworks - Jenkins etc.
• GIT Source Control
• Application integration using API gateway
• Well versed with Azure Devops and SonarQube tools
• Working experience in Agile based project execution
• Attention to detail to deliver error free code.
• Good analytical, organizing and communication skills
• Experience on application support would be preferred
