MAINTENANCE

Primary Purpose Of Job

• Understands Permit To Work System and Maintenance Management System. Knows the main power generation and distribution system on the station and safe working procedures on HV/LV electrical equipment. Discusses the work scope with the Electrical Engineer,
• Carries out predictive maintenance checks on all running electrical equipment such as Generators, Switchboards, control panels, MCCs, Motors, Transformers, UPS Inverters, DC rectifiers, Batteries and Battery chargers etc. for any abnormal load current, heating, smell, noise, vibration etc. and reports any abnormality to Electrical Engineer/Production Supervisor to initiate corrective action.
• Carries out Isolations of Electrical equipment for all trades as per Electrical Standing Instructions and in line with PTW procedures to ensure safe working conditions. Carries out de-isolations on completion of the job.
  
  
  

Experience & Skills

At least 5 years varied maintenance experience in oil and gas or Petrochemical industry in the related field.

Education

City & Guilds Certificate or Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized institutions
