Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a LV/MV Switchgear Senior Design Engineer located in Al Rayyan, Qatar. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with design engineering and product design.

• Qualifications
• Electrical Engineering, and Design Engineering skills
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with min 8 years of work experience, oiut of which 6 years experience in qatar.
• Proficiency in,

1. Computer-Aided Design (AUTOCAD) & EPLAN electric P8.

2. Discrimination and load flow analysis using SIMARIS / AMTECH MEP.

3. SIEMENS, TERASAKI, SCHNEIDER, ABB range LV / MV product portfolio , particularly SIEMENS and TERASAKI.

4. SIVACON S8 system and configuration

• Awareness of local KAHRAMAA, QCS and relevant IEC standards
• Product Design experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Project management skills and experience
