The ideal candidate will oversee the daily food preparation in the Hot Food Section as well as in the Bakery Section.
In City Centre, your responsibilities will include the below:
- Develops / Prepares recipes and ensures quality food preparations as per the agreed specifications and approved daily menus.
- Following schedules and production plans by the Head of Department
- Keeping the company and culinary standard hygiene and health practices at all times by ensuring work area is always clean, organized and safe for food production
- Assists and suggests, according to his experience to the Bakery Head of Department in controlling costs and wastes by means of effective and efficient use of materials and production levels
- Follows, supports and complies with the department policies on health, safety and security
- Supervises and coordinates activities of Cooks and other Food Prep. Staff, including their training, food/menu knowledge, as well as, their attendance uniform, hygiene, health and safety.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Chef in Pastry/Bakery and Hot Food.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Candidates must be in Qatar with valid residency.
