Assets & Inventory Supervisor
- Responsible for the physical cycle courting process and daily reconciliation of inventory to ensure product availability sufficient to meet customers’ scheduled deliveries
- Receiving of all orders verifying the good's conditions and classifications
- Wheelhouse management and store classification.
- Analyzing data and providing reports and analyses to management
- Reporting inventory issues
- Assisting with research and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies
- Develop control processes and policies to ensure its exactitude
- Work with external auditors to verify the records and compliance with procedures
- Organize with warehouse to dispose of obsolete and defective inventory
- Expedite shipments and ensure that inventory materials are on time to comply planner’s requirements for jobs in the plant
- Ensure the goods are protected and safe under appropriate clime conditions, security, and theft and without damage.
Qualifications for inventory supervisor
- Must have 5 years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant inventory management experience in the manufacturing industry required or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in building inventory standard operating procedures, compliance and audit awareness required or equivalent experience
- Excellent computer skills in MS Excel
- Three years of experience, including one year in a supervisory role
- ISO 9000+ related experience preferred
