Title SR. IMS ENGINEER
Primary Purpose of Job The individual provides specialist role and forms a nucleus think tank for OM(O) in matters related to development, establishment, implementation, coordination and maintenance of new and / or established Management System (MS) such as Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, Business Continuity Management, and Enterprise Risk Management, and other MS which Operations Offshore may subscribe in the future to complete Offshore Operations comprising of eight (8) departments, and other concerned QatarEnergy departments. Ensure that Offshore Operations third party accreditations are obtained and maintained. The individual provides specialist management support to Offshore Operations comprising of eight (8) departments in the effective implementation and maintenance of Management System in which Operations (Offshore Fields) subscribes and may subscribe in the future.
Education B.Sc. degree in Engineering discipline (preferably Chemical Engineering) or Science or equivalent.
Experience & Skills - Minimum of 10 years technical experience gained in production/process operations in chemical or other related industries, with at least 5 years minimum hands-on experience in Management Systems implementation. - Experienced in MS auditing, statistics, data analysis, and reporting to Management to make informed judgement, which includes relevant trainings. - Able to build effective working relationships with others including other Departments and co-worker, works well in Teams, understand others' perspectives, recognize and resolve conflicts. - Adapts willingly to challenging work-related conditions and developing and applying innovative approaches to work. - Sets priorities, planning and organizing work and multiple tasks, includes understanding and applying information, analyzing problems, and identifying viable solutions. - Practical computer competency and other related skills. - Preferably familiar with Continual Improvement Tools (e.g., KPI, Scorecard, SQC, etc) - Proven ability to work in multi-discipline/culture teams.
