Flight Operations Engineer (Level II) | Boeing Fleet

About the role

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for technical matters of the Boeing fleet. You will provide technical support to the Flight operations department. You will ensure the aircraft operations are conducted in a safe and economical manner satisfying all related regulatory and manufacturer requirements. Additional responsibilities are as follows:
  1. Customization of all the manufacturer documentation including but not limited to the Minimum Equipment List (MEL), Flight Crew Operating Manual (FCOM), Flight Crew Training Manual (FCTM), Normal Operating Procedures (NOP) and Customized Electronic Checklist/iQRH in coordination with the technical pilots and ensuring it is in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and Qatar Airways requirements.
  2. Actively involved in evaluating new aircraft systems and modifications and defining their operational impact in order to have adequate information communication to flight crew and to ensure safe operations.
  3. Manage Technical Projects and monitor service bulletins, engineering orders and airworthiness directives applicable to B777/B787/B737 Fleet

Qualifications

About You To be successful in this role you must have a Bachelor of Engineering – Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical or alternatively Electronic Engineering with Flight Operations Engineering experience preferably within an airline operations or manufacturer environment. You are also expected to have attended the following training courses:
  • Boeing Performance Engineering Course
  • Boeing FrameMaker Training
  • ECL Customization Course
  • Boeing Weight & Balance Training
  • Boeing OPT training
You should also be professionally equipped with Aircraft systems, operations, performance and weight and balance with excellent IT skills including light programming. Excellent communication and analytical skills, with project management experience and the ability to deliver tasks within tight deadlines is very much needed in this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
