• Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant fields.

• Min. 2 years of experience in a similar role with knowledge of BIM is required.

• To analyze Tender documents thoroughly and ensure compliance with tender regulations, initiate the early-stage estimation process by sending requests for information to the Business Development Manager.

• To meticulously extract quantities from tender drawings and models, identifying Build Up Area and Effective Area for precise estimation purposes.

• To collaborate with the Production Team, providing them with extracted quantities for each discipline from tender drawings and models, facilitating the technical/production estimation phase.

• To promptly respond to requests from management or the Production Team, supplying quantities from drawings and models as needed for decision-making and planning purposes.

• To actively participate in the production of Quantity Schedules, leveraging BIM models to extract accurate data and contribute to comprehensive schedules.

• To engage in the cost migration process, ensuring seamless transitions between Material Take Off and Bill of Quantities for various projects.

• To perform any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to project requirements.

Skills

• Demonstrable knowledge of quantity surveying, Modelling, Drafting, Engineering, Value Engineering , Construction (Technical Office), Building Information Modelling
• Strong skills in MS Office and BIM software are essential.
• Must be flexible for site visits and travel within GCC as assigned.
